In this short tutorial, I will explain how to view your public keys in Electrum. First, I will tell you how to view your master public key (also known as the extended public key), and then, how to view the public key for a specific address.
How to view your master public key
Open Electrum. In the menu, click on Wallet and on Information. Your master public key will appear in a new window. Below it, the derivation path will be specified. You may need both the key and the derivation path depending on your use case. No master public key will be shown if you don’t have any, which is possible under some circumstances.
How to view the public key for a specific address
Open Electrum. Click on the Addresses tab. Right-click on the address for which you would like to see the public key. Click on Details. The public key will appear in a new window.
